Grass Roots Charity of the Year 2009

Given by No 10 Downing Street. We were chosen by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife, Sarah Brown, to receive two turkeys donated by the British Poultry Association. We also received a luxury hamper, containing items from both Harrods and Partridges, which we distributed as part of our Christmas Hamper Scheme. Recipients were overjoyed, as they had never received items from these famous stores in their lives.
